Fantasy Healing Garden

Everyone had to return home and work from home last year due to covid. I was in the same boat as everyone else, and since I didn't have any family nearby, I decided to return to India. I spent almost a year of my junior year in India, studying online. It was an odd experience because I used to have all of my classes around midnight due to the time difference.

Apart from all the other activities, I used to have a very different schedule. With my schedule of classes and work being so messed up, my garden was the one area that helped me heal on a daily basis. Making a journal and documenting my feelings through prints seemed like a good approach to express how I felt about my garden and doing college from home.

Making prints with the textured leaves increased the notion of interaction with the garden and its surroundings. It was a technique that was quite similar to block printing, but the transfer of the texture of leaves was distinctive. I experimented with several materials, such as acrylic paints, watercolor paints, and chalk paintings, to see what I could come up with.

Have you thought about decorating your garden your own way? What kind of garden theme should I have? Ever thought about an aesthetic a garden should have?

I love my Fantasy Healing Garden!!
